Good mental wellbeing isn't about big gestures — it's usually built from small, repeatable habits.
- Get outside daily. Worthing's seafront makes this an easy habit to build — even ten minutes by the sea can help clear your head.
- Stay connected. A quick call or coffee with a friend does more for your mood than most people give it credit for.
- Move a little. You don't need to run a marathon — a walk, a swim or a Saturday morning at parkrun all count.
- Notice the good. Try naming three things that went well at the end of each day, however small.
- Ask for help when you need it. If things feel like more than you can manage alone, talk to your GP or a trusted friend — asking for help is a strength, not a weakness.
