As a town of over 100,000 people, Worthing is well served by supermarkets, with branches of the major national chains found across the town and its surrounding districts.

Between the town centre, Broadwater, Tarring, Durrington and Goring-by-Sea, residents have a choice of the large supermarket chains for a full weekly shop, plus a good number of smaller convenience-format branches for a quick top-up shop, alongside independent grocers, bakers and butchers in the town centre and local parades.
Exact store locations, opening hours and services (such as in-store pharmacies, cafes or petrol stations) vary by branch and change over time, so it's always worth checking directly with a store before a visit.
